The fact that you've found yourself here - means something! I won't go getting all earth child on you but I 100% feel like you find people in your life that are put there for a reason. Call it fate, law of attraction, manifestation or whatever feels right to you BUT I'm here for it! So the fact that out of the thousands of artist that are doing the same thing I'm doing, is pretty special. Welcome Sister!
I hope you've found me because A.) you love my work and B.) you need someone who will love you thru getting your dream hair! My passion for hair was created because I saw the difference it was making in women's lives! I'm a strong believer in creating life long relationships with my clients, like don't you want to be coming to me in 30 years to cover your greys and talking about our grand babies!? Building the foundation for a relationship like that means a few things to me, so here's your warning of what to expect if you sit in my chair!
1. I will ALWAYS shoot you straight - I believe in setting clear and concise expectations for the both of us. Communication is key in any partnership, we are partners girl. We are working together to create the love child that is the best hair OF YOUR LIFE! I will ask you questions until your ears bleed. I'll explain things to you so well you'll be able to talk hair with the best of hair stylist. I'll even walk you thru what I'm doing so you are comfortable and confident in my chair.
2. I will ALWAYS be me. It's not in my being to be unauthentic. That means - I will curse, I will more then likely make dirty jokes, I occasionally might rap some or lip sync to Celine - we can do that together! I'm a real person and it's important to me that my girls see me as someone they can be themselves around - it's just as important to me that I can be me around you. There are SO many personalities in the world, if ours don't mesh - IT'S OKAY! I have a network of stylist friends who I am happy to support and refer out!
3. I am a STRONG believer in a healthy work/personal life balance. If it's my day off, I can promise you - the DMs, text, emails & calls can wait. I value my mental sanity and health - if I'm away from work, I'm working on recharging the batteries it requires to show up and be your team mate, cheerleader and therapist. Straight up, I expect my clients to respect that.
4. I will ALWAYS be honest - if there is something that I don't think is in you or your hairs best interest, I am totally comfortable with saying NO. Went thru a break up and want to cut 8 inches off your hair? I'm probably going to talk you into a glaze and bangs - things that grow back quickly but will give you a little change to help sooth your soul. Been working 5 years on being a blonde and now want to go red? Girlfriend, give me your Mom's number...we need a come to Jesus. Believe me, I'm looking out for you & if that means sending you home with a hug and not a hair service, we'll make it thru it together.
5. I am a BOSS & with that comes a level of BDE. Sometimes I'm going to have to have an assistant or have a member of my managerial team around. Think of them as my second pair of arms - they are CRUCIAL part of my business & if you like me, you'll love them!
6. I don't scare easy - there's not a lot you can throw at me that will put me off my game. BIG FLEX. But really - I know someone is going to read this and think what they want isn't accomplishable or they don't even know where to begin. Come sit with me. We can talk about a game plan, you've got possibly the most honest human willing to give you the time you deserve.
